Bread & Olives Cafe @ Lookout point

It's been some time since we've updated anything. Sad to say, we've been quite busy. =(
Anyway, here's a review of a place we went to have dinner last 2 weeks ago. This place, known as "lookout point" in Ampang, was recommended by a friend of mine. =) It took us about an hour to get there from PJ coz it was so jam! I think we arrived at 9.30pm and there were still lots of people.
There are actually several restaurants/cafe at "lookout point." The famous ones being Gasoline Cafe and Bread & Olives. That night, we decided to have a go at Bread & Olives Cafe.

First thing that I have to say is that the view of KL was simply amazing! Despite many attempts at taking pictures of the scenary, this is the best that I could get. =( My camera doesn't take good night pictures. Probably should get one of those Nikon semi-pro cams? hehe.
The ambience is quite nice. The cafe itself is quite spacious I might say. First thing we ordered were our drinks. Daniel ordered a chocolate milk shake and I ordered the Bread & Olive special fruit cocktail (as shown in pic). We were quite amazed when my drink came. LOL. I didn't expect to see so many colors in one tall glass. The taste however, was abit disappointing. It tasted like ice shavings mixed with fruit syrup.

For the main course, Daniel ordered steak. There weren't many choices on steaks. This is the only one on the menu. The steak came with some butterish garlic topping, some veggies, potatoes, and a side of mushroom gravy. It tasted quite good actually. The meat was quite juicy as compared to the steak we tried while we were at Tony Romas. I'd give the steak a 2 thumbs up! =D

On the other hand, I tried the quarter chicken served with briyani rice. I loved the chicken because it's so fragrant! Not sure what kind of spice they add to the chicken though but it sure tasted good. But the rice...hrm..didn't finish it coz felt that it was abit dry.

And believe it or not, we also decided to order pizza. Definitely did not expect such a huge pizza! But it was really worth it. I have never tasted anything like it. Well, I guess most probably because I'm so used to ordering the usual hawaiian pizza. :P
Even the name of this pizza sounds so unique. It's called the Burj Al Arab pizza. The pizza was topped with a generous amount of onions, capsicum, olives, cheese, tomatoes and meat. We were so full that we ended up taking home the 2 slices of pizza we couldn't finish.

Overall, I'd definitely recommend the pizza. It's a must try there! The only downside is that they don't accept credit cards. LOL. Actually wanted to give Daniel a treat, but I didn't have enough cash on me. So he ended up getting the tab. hehe.

Here's the address in case you guys decide to try it out:
